RECENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
In a competitive environment where retaining the best people is key, Andrew is leading the delivery of leading-edge reward and recognition solutions to public sector organisations. Andrew has recently worked with a large metropolitan council to pilot reward and recognition technology designed to engage their entire workforce. The project ensured the technology aligned closely with existing recognition efforts and the organisations broader strategic objectives and values. This is a creative and exciting project where people and technology work together to create an engaged and positive workplace.
Andrew has excellent knowledge of a range of programs across State and Local Government including: Child Protection; Family Services; Early Intervention and Prevention; Kinship Care; Foster Care; Residential Care; Family Violence; Disability; Aged Care; Early Childhood Education; Local Laws; Traffic and Parking; and Animal Management. Andrew has overseen key projects in these areas. A recent project required a comprehensive service review of Local Laws, Traffic and Parking for a large Council. The review considered all aspects of the service including service performance, outcomes for the local community and key budgetary and resource considerations. The project benchmarked best practice and made recommendations for the future. This was a collaborative process and Andrew and the Talent Architects team worked closely with our client within tight timelines to ensure all project deliverables were achieved resulting in real and tangible benefits for the organisation and community.
Andrew has facilitated a number of job transition and change management programs with aged care and early childhood providers. These include large providers of a range of services and programs and over 1000 staff members and single centres with a small team. Andrew worked with senior management to develop a tailored and individualised change management process to support staff, including redundancies and modified responsibilities. The fundamental objective was to support people and organisations through the change process and achieve positive outcomes for all those involved. Andrew is able to communicate with a range of stakeholders effectively and he facilitated group sessions and conducted one-on-one coaching with staff. Andrew's individualised, solution focussed, engaging and positive approach is always well-received.
